Episode 54 - Now There Are Three

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade mourns one of their own as hell demonstrates that death can come suddenly for any of them.

After a brief memorial service for their fallen friend, the party takes a much needed rest.

Given this pause in the action, Emre and the players take a look back at the adventure thus far in a casual and largely unedited recap of Rated RPG: Baldur's Gate - Descent Into Avernus.

Episode 53 - Pedal to the Metal

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade has split the party, breaking the cardinal rule of D&D. 

Their hollyphant guide, Lulu, has been taken away by a hellwasp, so Rayce the Roaster has polymorphed into a giant eagle and has taken off through the smog-choked skies of Avernus to rescue her.

Meanwhile, the rest of the GPB is aboard their infernal war machines, driving like the devil to get away from... well... a devil.

Not just any devil, but one of Zariel's lieutenants, Haruman.

Episode 50 - Mad Mags Beyond Knucklebone

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade retrieved the memories of the hollyphant, Lulu, so now it's off to the wasteland in search of the Sword of Zariel. The hag warlord, Mad Maggie, might arrange transportation - but it's not going to be an easy journey. The wastes of Avernus have horrible infrastructure, and there's no shortage of infernal creatures looking to make a meal of our heroes.

Episode 49 - A Hollyphant Never Forgets

In this episode, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade reaps the rewards of being helpful to members of the Fort Knucklebone community. With the hag warlord Mad Maggie swayed to assist them with her magic, the crew goes Inception on their hollyphant friend, Lulu, in search of her lost memories.

What will they learn of Zariel, tucked away in Lulu's adorable little brain? Can Mad Maggie be trusted? And will they need to lick Rayce again?

This episode is also our final virtually-recorded podcast episode for a bit - as we returned to in-person gaming on July 24th. We had some shiny new equipment and a great new set for recording/playing, which was made possible through your support!

Episode 48 - Do the Mickey!

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade continues their campaign to win the hearts and minds of the residents of Fort Knuckebone. It's a dangerous gambit, because violence seems to be the only language most of them understand - but if they play their cards right, they might get the help they need to find Zariel's sword and escape Avernus.

According to their hollyphant guide, Lulu, the party can find some help there in locating Zariel's legendary sword. But, what they find is an assortment of oddballs and lunatics who put the ASS in assistance.
